With more than 800 licensed and civilian personnel, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in Minnesota. The Sheriff's Office is commanded by Sheriff Richard W. Stanek. It is headquartered in downtown Minneapolis with divisions and units located throughout Hennepin County.
