Karen Anderson

Karen is a former Mayor of Minnetonka and past president of the League of Minnesota Cities and the National League of Cities.  She has represented and advocated for local government before Congress, at the United Nations, and internationally.  She represented local government as an advisor during the formation of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Karen lives in Minnetonka and is currently a member of the following organizations:  Family Housing Fund Board of Directors, Dean’s Advisory Council at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, WomenWinning Pipeline Committee, and the Minnetonka Charter Commission.
