Doug is currently the executive vice president for business development with the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. Doug has over 17 years of national nonprofit experience, including his most recent tenure with Be The Match Foundation. Previous to his work with Be The Match, Doug served as the chief development officer for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He also worked with CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation as chief development officer and executive vice president for business development with Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Doug was an All Big Ten football player and All-American at the University of Minnesota. After college, Doug played tight end for the Minnesota Vikings and played in Super Bowls VIII and IX.
